Yep, it’s that time again: time to take full advantage of some amazing offers and the ever popular 3-for-2 deals at the Clicks Beauty Fair – and just in time for Spring! Here are a few of my top picks in case you’re looking for some inspiration when updating your makeup bag and bathroom cabinet for the new season…

You all seemed to really enjoy the post I did on my top picks from the Clicks Winter Beauty Fair a couple of months ago (take a look here if you missed it), so I was really excited when Clicks contacted me and asked me to feature my favourites from their Spring Beauty Fair, which runs until 11 October 2017. Read on below for a quick look at some of the top deals available at the moment, then run – don’t walk – to your nearest Clicks store to take full advantage of these before the beauty fair ends!

TIP: Can’t make it to a Clicks store? No problem! Simply head on over to the Clicks website (here) to make use of their clever ‘Click & Collect’ feature, which allows you to shop online and collect your purchases in store. Genius!

SKINCARE

Eucerin – I’ve been using Eucerin’s products ever since I first discovered the brand back in 2009, so I was pretty excited to see that Clicks is offering a ‘mix and match’ 3-for-2 deal on all Eucerin skincare brands, including the exceptional DermoPURIFYER range, which is fantastic for those with oily and acne-prone skin types. This deal also applies to their SUN range, so now’s the perfect time to get your hands on your summer sunscreen (I highly recommend the Eucerin Sun Creme – see here for my full review on this product).

Cetaphil – Cetaphil’s Gentle Cleansing Lotion is one of my favourite cleansers… ever. It boasts a super-gentle, non-irritating formula that thoroughly cleanses skin, without damaging your skin’s natural moisture barrier. You can read my review on the Gentle Cleansing Lotion here. I also highly recommend the Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths (so handy for lazy nights or when you’re travelling), and the Moisturising Lotion is perfect for those with an oily skin type that’s prone to sensitivity – it’s completely fragrance-free and won’t clog your pores. Win!

Vichy – Vichy is another fantastic range that’s well worth trying. Whether you’ve got an oily skin type or you’re trying to minimise the signs of premature ageing, Vichy has a range for you. Click here to read my review on some of my top picks from the brand.

SVR – I haven’t had the opportunity to try any products from French skincare brand SVR just yet, but I fully intend on making use of Clicks’ 3-for-2 offer to stock up on a few products so I can try them for myself. Leave me a note in the comments section below if you have any recommendations!

POND’S – Pond’s never fails to impress me. I’ve tried many of their products over the years, and it’s a brand that I come back to again and again. If you’re looking for a highly effective skincare range on a budget, I definitely suggest that you check out Pond’s. You can see my past reviews on some of my favourite Pond’s picks here, here, here, and here.

Garnier – I’ve been longing to try the relatively new Garnier Pure Clay Masks ever since they launched a few months ago, so I plan on stocking up on all three before the beauty fair ends. That way, I can get my hands on all three masks, but I’ll only pay for two. Score! The RevitaLift range is also always a winner, so I think I’ll stock up on a moisturiser or three, too!

The Body Shop

The Body Shop – I’ve long been a huge fan of The Body Shop’s products, and their body butters are a staple in my beauty routine so you can bet I’m planning on stocking up with their 3-for-2 offer on The Body Shop hand and body products! Here are a couple of reviews I wrote in the past in case you’re looking for some inspiration on what to go for: Sunday pamper essentials and The Body Shop’s Spa of the World range.

MAKEUP

What’s a new season without a revamped makeup bag? I’ve noticed something a little strange happening over the past couple of months… I’ve started wearing a lot more makeup on a daily basis, and I’ve also started experimenting with new shades that I wouldn’t ordinarily pick. Because of this, I’ve found myself ridiculously excited at the prospect of the Clicks Spring Beauty Fair, if only to stock up on some more bright lip colours and to finally find the perfect under-eye concealer.

And if you’re a Clicks ClubCard holder (who isn’t?), you’ll be happy to learn that Clicks is offering you 10% off ALL colour cosmetics – on top of all their other deals! Here are some goodies I’ll be stocking up on, or some treats I’ve tried that I think you should try, too:

♥ Revlon – I recently started testing the new Revlon Youth FX range (see images above), and I’m blown away at the results of this range. It includes two unique Fill & Blur primers (one specifically targeting lines on your forehead, and the other designed for use on both the face and neck), as well as the Fill & Blur Concealer and the Fill & Blur Foundation SPF20, which are both brilliant. I have a full review coming up in the next couple of weeks, but I suggest you take full advantage of this deal while it lasts and stock up on the foundation, concealer, and at least one of the primers pronto!

L’Oreal – L’Oreal’s range of makeup never fails to impress (their foundations and mascaras in particular are some of the best), and along with offering 10% off all purchases (if you have a clubcard, that is), Clicks is offering buyers a FREE L’Oreal gift box with every purchase to the value of R290 or more. The gift box contains a full-size liquid liner and the Miss Manga Mega Volume mascara, so it’s well worth it.

Maybelline – Maybelline’s mascaras are renowned for their exceptional formulations, so if you’re in the market for a new mascara, I suggest you pick up a Maybelline one (or three) and save R30 while doing so (don’t forget that you’ll get a further 10% off the price if you’re a Clicks ClubCard holder).

Wet n Wild

Wet n Wild

Wet ‘n Wild – I only recently discovered the goodness that is Wet ‘n Wild, so I was thrilled when I spotted this exquisite Wet ‘n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in my Clicks Beauty Fair box. It’s a beautiful golden highlighting powder that’s super-flattering on my skin tone (and I suspect it would look equally gorgeous on darker skin tones). It’s perfect for creating the perfect little highlight at the inner corner of your eye as well! I also received a pretty pinky-red lipstick from Wet ‘n Wild, and I’ve been wearing it non-stop ever since. It feels really comfy on the lips, and it’s the perfect Spring-time shade. There are a whole bunch of new launches from Wet ‘n Wild available in store at the moment (including that gorgeous highlighter), and as I mentioned before, all Clicks ClubCard holders will receive 10% off all purchases.

NYX

NYX Professional Makeup – NYX Professional Makeup is another budget-friendly makeup range that’s become a firm fixture in my makeup bag in recent months. Oddly enough, I’d never tried their ever-popular range of Intense Butter Glosses, so I was stoked when I spotted these two in amongst the goodies in my box. What a score! I’ve also been meaning to get my hands on a new liquid liner, so the NYX Professional Makeup Super Skinny Eye Marker was a very welcome addition to my box. It’s the perfect fine-tipped liner for creating a gorgeous winged eye, and I find it incredibly user-friendly and easy to use. I also like that it’s super-pigmented for a solid, black line – and the formula dries pretty quickly, which helps to minimise smudges.

Sorbet Nail Colour – The quickest and easiest way to update your look for Spring? A new nail colour, of course! Clicks makes it easy by offering 20% off a selection of nail colours – including the Sorbet Nail Colour collection – ON TOP of the 10% off offered to ClubCard holders. I usually opt for more muted nude shades or a classic red polish, but I’m really enjoying these vibrant brights from Sorbet… and I’m amazed at just how long-wearing they are!

BODY

Still struggling with dry, post-winter skin? No problem – Clicks has you sorted. Here are a few of my faves for parched, thirsty skin…

Eucerin – I’m a big fan of Eucerin UreaRepair PLUS Body Cream for very dry, winter skin, and The Husband swears by Eucerin’s Original Extra Thick Creme to sort out his eczema-prone skin. Clicks is offering a ‘mix & match’ 3-for-2 special on these Eucerin Skin Care products (along with the face care products, as mentioned earlier in this post).

Epi-Max – Epi-Max is another wonderful range of products suited to dry, sensitive skin types and ideal for those with skin conditions, like eczema. I’m a big fan of the Epi-Max Bathe Moisturising Bath & Shower Oil (I usually add a couple of drops to both mine and Beanie’s baths to ensure that our skin stays super-soft and supple during the winter months), and the Epi-Max Baby & Junior Cream is perfect for a baby or toddler’s sensitive skin. Now you can buy any 3 Epi-Max hand and body products, and you’ll get the cheapest one free.

Dermalex – this is an amazing range of highly effective skincare products suited to very specific skincare concerns, such as eczema, rosacea, and acne, to name just a few. They’re pretty pricey (prices start at around R243), but they really do work so now is the perfect time to make use of Clicks’ 3-for-2 offer, which will allow you to save at least R243 when you get the cheapest product free. Go, go, go!

Nivea

Nivea – My love for Nivea’s range of body care products knows no bounds: whether it’s their ridiculously luxe Pampering Oil Shower Oil (I still think it’s the best body wash ever… see my full review, here) or their brand-new Nivea Oil In Lotion body moisturisers, Nivea never fails to deliver. Now you can stock up for the months ahead: simply buy any 3 skincare products from the same offer, and you’ll get the cheapest free. My recommendations? The Pampering Shower Oil (of course), the new Shower with Creme Oil Pearls range, the original Shower Creme, the Nivea Oil in Lotion moisturisers, and the new Nivea Q10 Anti-Wrinkle +Energy range (review coming soon!)

Johnsons – I wrote about my love for the Johnson’s Vita-Rich range here, and if that review piqued your interest, you’ll be happy to know that you can now stock up on a whole bunch of these goodies with the Clicks ‘mix & match’ 3-for-2 deal. I definitely plan on stocking my bathroom cabinet with some more Vita-Rich soap bars!

Bio-Oil – Pregnant? Head on over to Clicks and grab three bottles of Bio-Oil now – you’ll receive the third bottle absolutely free. Score!

Dove – I’ve yet to try the new Dove DermaSpa range, so you can bet that I’ll be popping some of the new products into my basket next time I’m at Clicks. I’m particularly keen to try the self-tanning product. Any other recommendations on products you think I should try?

SUNCARE

Clicks is offering 20% off a selection of sunscreens, after-sun products, and even sunglasses, so hurry and head on over to your nearest Clicks store (or shop online here) to get yourself ready for summer.

Nivea Sun – I recently started using the new Nivea Sun Kids Protect & Sensitive Sun Lotion SPF50 (pictured above) on Beanie, and it’s a real hit. It’s super-gentle on his skin, and I love that it’s unscented. You can get 20% off this product – and a selection of others from Nivea’s Sun range – at your nearest Clicks store until 11 October.

FRAGRANCES

In the market for a new Spring-time scent? Clicks has got you covered with some amazing new fragrance launches and great prices!

New Bulgari Goldea The Roman Night – I was lucky enough to attend the launch of this new fragrance a couple of months ago, and I’ve been wearing it every chance I get since! I have a full review coming up soon, but I couldn’t not mention this musky, fruity-floral scent in this post! It’s an incredibly alluring, sexy scent that has a bit of a masculine twist… it’s perfect for date nights and will turn heads everywhere you go! Priced from R870 for 30ml.

Hugo Boss – Fans of Hugo Boss fragrances will love the gorgeous carry-all that comes free with any Hugo Boss ladies’ fragrance (otherwise grab your favourite Hugo Boss men’s fragrance for the man in your life, and receive a free, luxe sports bag).

There are loads more specials and promotions on offer, but I’m over 2000 words into this blog post already so rather than keep you, I thought I’d direct you to the online catalogue instead – click here to browse, and leave a comment below to let me know which specials you plan on taking advantage of (or which products you think I should get hold of to do a review on). All suggestions welcome!
