I can’t believe it’s just three days till Christmas… and that I don’t have any plans to do some frantic, last-minute gift shopping this weekend! Every year, I have the very best intentions of getting my Christmas shopping done and out of the way well ahead of time, but I’ve never managed to succeed with this.
Until this year, that is! As I type, all my pressies are wrapped up and sitting underneath our twinkling Christmas tree, and a lot of that is with thanks to Clicks. I don’t know how they manage to do it, but every year – without fail – Clicks manages to up their Christmas gift game and I end up buying the majority of my gifts from them. I’ve bought about 90% of this year’s pressies from Clicks, and I even managed to sneak in a few spoils for myself by taking advantage of Clicks’ amazing offers and great 3-for-2 offers. Some offers to keep an eye out for:
- 20% off certain brands and products
- 30% off certain brands and products
- Mix and match 3-for-2 deal on specific products
- The purple gift sticker – you’ll want to keep an eye out for this sticker, believe me! Buy any three gifts – across all categories – that feature this little sticker and you’ll get the cheapest one free!
If you’re still on the hunt for a few last minute gifts, read on… I’ve made a list (and checked it twice), featuring some of my personal favourite gift ideas, and I’m also giving one For The Beauty Of It reader the chance to win a R1000 voucher to splurge at Clicks. Could today get any better?
… for the friend who’s always on her feet
Whether you have a family member who’s a nurse (there are two nurses in my immediate family!), or a friend who works in retail, I’m pretty sure that there’s someone you know who deserves a little foot pamper! The Sorbet Pedi-Care range features some of the sweetest smelling foot treats you’ll ever come across – I got a whole bunch of goodies that I’ll be gifting, but I’ve kept aside the Sorbet Pedi-Care 4-in-1 Pedi Kit (R79,95) for myself and I have every intention of showing my feet some TLC while catching up on Christmas movies later this evening. The kit contains everything you need for a professional-style pedicure at home: a softening foot soak, and exfoliating foot scrub, a foot mask, and a deliciously nourishing foot souffle.
More feet treats to try:
Sorbet Pedi-Care Cooling Foot Spray (R49,95)
Sorbet Pedi-Care Intensive Foot Serum (R79,95)
Sorbet Pedi-Care Rejuvenating Heel Balm (R49,95)

One of my favourite beauty ranges, Oh So Heavenly, also have some great gifting options on offer, as always. Whether it’s Christmas or a birthday, Oh So Heavenly is usually my first stop for beautiful gift ideas that won’t break the bank.
They’ve also got some amazing pampering goodies for feet on offer, and I’ve been using the Oh So Heavenly Foot Spa Sole Retreat 3-in-1 Spa Pedicure and Oh So Heavenly Foot Spa Sole Therapy Overnight Foot Treatment for a good couple of months now, so I can vouch for the fact that they really do work and leave your feet feeling ridiculously soft and smooth after just one use. They also smell absolutely gorgeous, and all their products are cruelty-free. Just thinking about these products has me itching to get them out and give myself a pedicure right this minute!
… for your niece
Try the Oh So Heavenly Pony Party Bubble Bath (R52,95), the Oh So Heavenly Pony Party Bubble Lip Balm (R29,95), and the Oh So Heavenly Pony Party Body Spray (R21,95)… and since these products form part of the Clicks Mix and Match 3-for-2 offer, you’ll only pay for the Bubble Bath and the Lip Balm.
… for the newest baby in the family
Oh So Heavenly has the most beautiful range of baby skincare goodies on offer, and they also have a few gift sets on offer at the moment, with my favourite being the Oh So Heavenly Mum & Cherub Baby Bath Time Book (49,95), which includes a waterproof bath time book and fragranced skin mist (which I’d use on myself, to be honest!)
… for the deadline driven friend who doesn’t get much sleep
I’ll be honest, I’ve had so many late nights and deadlines to meet these past couple of months (not that I’m complaining!) that I slipped this Sorbet Sleep Rescue Shooting Star Gift Pack (R129,95) into my shopping cart for me, myself, and I. I also happen to really love the sleep range – I’ve used the Sorbet Sleep Rescue Sleepy Bliss Pillow Spray (R29,95) for so many years now that the soothing scent instantly helps me to drift off to sleep.

… for your sister or your besties
I first spotted the brightly coloured Bubbles ‘n Bliss bottles lining the shelves at Clicks a couple of month ago and I’ve been itching to try their goodies ever since, so these were the first items I popped into my online shopping cart. They have three different scents to choose from (Magnolia and Lemon, Candy Floss, and Coconut and Lime), and with prices ranging from R29,95 for a hand cream to R49,95 for a body wash, body scrub, or body lotion, there’s no denying that these are the ultimate in spoilicious gift giving. If you can manage part with them, that is…
These goodies also feature Clicks’ purple gift sticker, so you’ll pay just R99,90 when you buy the body wash, body scrub, and body lotion, as I’ve done. I haven’t had the chance to sniff the other scents, but I’m so happy with the Coconut and Lime range I bought. They smell deliciously sweet and fruity, but the scent isn’t even remotely overpowering, as I expected. (In fact, I opted not to buy the Candy Floss variant because I was worried that it would be too sickly sweet, but after sniffing the Coconut and Lime range, I fully intend on getting the Candy Floss range for myself soon!)

… for the host with the most
Anyone else have those friends who seem to have it all together, despite their packed schedules? You know, the mom whose kids are always impeccably dressed (and whose lunchboxes are crammed with delicious, healthy, and homemade snacks) and who manages to whip up a gourmet three-course meal without breaking a sweat? Yep, I have one too, and I always find it particularly difficult to shop for her as she tends to have it all already. With that in mind, I figured that a fancy hand wash and lotion gift set from The Body Shop would do the trick. Not only does it smell fantastic and leave your skin feeling soft and smooth, but it also looks great on your kitchen counter or on your bathroom vanity.
The Body Shop Strawberry Special Edition Hand Duet (R220) is also on the Clicks Mix and Match 3-for-2 offer, so I was also able to stock up on a couple of other gifts (mostly for myself, because who doesn’t love a bit of The Body Shop action?!)
… for the friend whose nails are always done
I am such a fan of Sorbet’s range of nail colours that I couldn’t resist tucking a few of these incredible nail colour collection kits under my arm last time I popped into Clicks. Sorbet has the most incredible line up of nail colours, and the colour lasts on my nails for a good 3 or 4 days (without chips!), despite the fact that I’m pretty hard on my nails.
This Sorbet Naturally Me Nail Colour Collection (R99,95) contains five 5ml bottles of Sorbet Long Wear nail colour in the most exquisite, easy-to-wear shades. You just can’t go wrong with this gift, and with colour options to suit all tastes (think pastels, brights, nudes, and more) there’s a gift set for everyone.

… for the friend that’s addicted to all things beauty
Have you ever seen anything more beautiful that this Real Techniques Cold Metals Collection Spotlight Essentials brush roll, which includes a super-nifty (and absolutely gorgeous) brush roll? Didn’t think so. I’ve had this set as part of my brush collection for the past three days, and I still haven’t been able to bring myself to use it… it’s just that beautiful!
If you’re struggling to buy a gift for a friend (or sister) that’s even remotely into beauty, I don’t think you could go wrong with this gift. I have a few Real Techniques brushes in my collection and they are by far my most-reached-for brushes out of the lot. The brushes were designed by Sam and Nic Chapman, sisters and super-successful makeup artists who are also the brains behind the incredibly well-known (and well-loved) YouTube beauty channel, Pixiwoo. Every single Real Techniques brush I’ve had the pleasure of trying has been of exceptional quality, and I love that they’re cruelty-free to boot.
Clicks is offering shoppers 20% off all Real Techniques brushes at the moment, so now’s the perfect time to try them.

… for your hair-obsessed friend
You know the one… the friend that makes sure that she has her roots touched up every 4 – 6 weeks, come hell or high water, and who easily spends half her salary on the latest haircare products. As someone who swore that I’d only use salon-professional hair products from that point on just a few short years ago, I’m totally that person… and I’m also here to tell you that Clicks has some of the best haircare products on offer – and at really amazing prices to boot! Some of my favourites include the new Not Your Mother’s range of cruelty-free and vegan-friendly hair care products, as well as the Noughty range of products, which are 97% natural. This is my second tube of Noughty Intensive Care Leave-In Conditioner (R149) with shea butter and Argan oil, and it’s a real treat for dry, damaged hair. I have a feeling that it’s going to be a life saver this summer!
I’ve long been a fan of Colab’s range of dry shampoos, and at just R39,95 for the travel-sized can and R79,95 for 200ml, they make great stocking stuffers. Shop the range here.
Something that I’m really excited about and that I’m sure anyone would love to have beneath their tree this Christmas is the new Revlon Triple Complex Styler (R399), which boasts ceramic coated plates that heat up to 230 degrees to ensure fuss-free styling, whether you’re opting for a smooth, sleek look or want to try your hand at creating beachy waves.
The plates are infused with a triple complex of hydrating mango, shea, and coconut butters to ensure that your hair is nourished while you style it. At just R399 for a flat iron, this is a steal – I’ve tried them, and they also work really, really well when compared to my expensive ghd, nevermind more budget-friendly stylers. What’s more, Clicks is offering shoppers an additional 20% off if you shop this styler before 24 December 2017.
… stocking stuffers everyone will love
I don’t know about you, but a Christmas stocking filled to the brim with beauty goodies is my kind of heaven! With 20% off selected beauty products and Mix and match 3-for-2 deals on a bunch of goodies, you have every reason to pop in store to stock up on some extra pressies and stocking fillers. Not sure where to start? I’ve been waiting patiently for Rimmel’s Kate Moss The Perfect Contour range, so I was excited to find the range at Clicks – and I can’t wait to try the Bronzing Palette pictured above.
I also really love Wet n Wild’s range of makeup, as their products are amazing quality, really affordable, and cruelty free. They’re well worth checking out!
