The Adventures of Batman & Bean | DC Batman Toy Review

Batman toy review

A few weeks ago, I shared a post on Instagram asking fellow moms what toys their 7 – 10 year old boys love playing with most. After our most recent move, I did yet another huge declutter – this time focusing most of my energy on Bean’s toy collection.

It was long overdue for a clear out, and once done, we’d whittled his toy collection down to his activity and colouring-in books, a few play dough sets, books, and his Lego collection. So Bean couldn’t believe his luck when, just a couple of weeks later, an incredible hamper of Batman and other DC toys from Just Fun Toys landed on our doorstep.

Bean has long been a Batman fan, so this drop absolutely made his year and he’s spent countless hours playing make believe ever since. From playing dress up with his cousin in their Batman masks (about R124 each) to zooming around the house with his brand-new BatMobile (R848), this exciting new range from Just Fun Toys will delight all superhero fans.

Apart from the iconic BatMobile (which also deploys a BatBoat with a simple lift and pull), Beanie received an assortment of superhero figurines to start his collection (and we all know that these collections often stick around well into – and often beyond – the teen years). His absolute favourite? His 12″ Batman figurine (about R314), which has been given pride-of-place on his bedside table.

He also loves his collection of 4″ DC figures, which each come with a secret collectors card and three mystery accessories. In each pack, you’ll also find a special Batman item – collect them all and build the ultimate armour for Batman! The 4″ figures are also the perfect size to fit into the BatMobile mentioned above, resulting in hours of imaginative play for little ones!

There’s also a fabulous range of apparel on offer – and these aren’t limited to kiddies alone. Just Fun Toys were kind enough to send a Wonder Woman tee for mama, along with Superman tracksuit pants, a Batman hoodie, and a Batman cap for Bean. I’ve also spotted super-cute onesies, dress up garments for both girls and boys, along with T-shirts and hoodies in adult sizes. There’s no denying that there’s something for every family member!

You’ll find this fantastic range of Batman and DC Marvel toys and apparel are selected Checkers, Game, and Makro stores, as well as at Hamley’s,  Toy Kingdom, and Toyzone . You can also buy them online at The Kidzone.

Oh, and if you’re feeling lucky, head on over to THIS Instagram post, as I’m giving away an incredible Batman hamper to one lucky reader.
